My work takes me to London from time to time, and I don't mind going there, as long as it's not too often. I used to live in London for many years, perhaps even long enough to call myself a Londoner. But, the thing is, I never really liked London. The city is too crowded, too traditional for my taste, too multicultural and above all too cold, grey and rainy. There are, I am sure, many good things to be said about London too. The city renders many opportunities and living there helped me to find my vocation. Unfortunately, to me, living there felt like living in a marriage of convenience. So I left, and I never regretted it. I mean, a coffee person living in a tea-drinking country? That was never going to work.
